Artist in Residence

We will have a gentleman with us next week that will be doing Mime with our students as an Artist in Residence.  Jef Lambdin comes to us highly recommended.

School Christmas Store

We are now accepting items to place in our school Christmas store. We will accept any items that can be “re-gifted” (coffee mugs, “knick-nacks,” holiday items, etc.) to allow students to come visit the store and shop for the holidays during the second week of December. Proceeds from the store will be used to assist needy families for the holidays.

Wreath Orders

Mrs. Debbie Stines will again be taking orders for wreaths this year, from November 6th- November 20th. Wreaths will be delivered on either November 26th or December 9th, please specify your choice for delivery.   A portion of the sale will go to the school.

School Safety

We are asking that students be dropped off in the front of the school and leave the back open for handicapped parking and deliveries.  Please exit up near the Emporium Shops.

Land Transfer Tax

Please make sure that you familiarize yourself on the Land Transfer Tax.  This is a tax on land sales that the proceeds would go to capital outlay for schools.  The Avery Journal had an informative article in it yesterday.  Please make sure that you make yourself aware of all the information.  There will be a referendum on February 3rd that voters will be vote on this tax.
