Welcome to Banner Elk School’s web page.  Thank you for your interest in our school.  We are very proud of the tradition of excellence at Banner Elk School.  Our desire is for each student to perform at his/her best each day.

We have a supportive PTO and community.  Our philosophy is that it takes a village to raise a child.  We try to frame our decisions on “what is best for children.”  Our desire is to prepare each child to be responsible citizens and life long learners.
