Beech Mountain School Volunteer Opportunities
Tutoring individual students
Reading aloud to students or classroom
Share talents, skills, or demonstrations with students
Maintenance of exterior grounds

Beech Mountain Harvest Festival: Held annually in the fall.
November 4, 2006 at the school.  Bingo, games, food, and prizes. 
Donations of goods, prizes, funds, and labor are welcome. 
Proceeds go to the purchase of school supplies and instructional equipment.

Senior Meals: Meals on Tuesdays and Fridays at 12 Noon
Register at the BMS Cafeteria
Free meals for seniors 60 years or older

Meals on Wheels: Co-sponsored by the Beech Mountain School and Avery Senior Center
Meals are delivered 5 times per week except holidays
Delivery on inclement weather days varies.
Drivers and Substitute Drivers Needed

Fall Creek Volunteer Fire Department
Attends to Medical, Fire, and other Crisis in the Community
Conducts training
Hosts an annual BBQ fundraiser the last Saturday in July

Old Beech Mountain Grange: Meets the first Thursday of each month 7:00-8:30pm
Offers Informational Programs related to Agriculture and Community Wellness
Performs Community Service, Crafts, Family Living, Health and Welfare, Fellowship, and more.
